Facilities/custodial department offers variety of recycling options

Submitted by Tyler Sharp

Interested in recycling? It has never been easier or more convenient.

The facilities/custodial department will recycle the following items:

  • computers
  • mixed paper
  • newspaper
  • magazines
  • phone books
  • cans
  • plastic bottles
  • glass bottles
  • aluminum cans
  • pallets
  • cardboard
  • any type of metal

All of these items, excluding computers, can be recycled at many of the buildings across campus. Most campus office buildings, residence halls and Jardine offer recycling points including deskside bins or the adjacent receptacles visible around campus. Computers are picked up by the department.
