Service learning expert to talk about campus engagement Sept. 26

The office of the vice provost for undergraduate studies, in partnership with the School of Leadership Studies and the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning are welcoming Patti Clayton to campus.

Clayton will present "Toward 'Multifaceted' Partnerships: Multidisciplinary, multiorganizational, multisemester" at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, in Town Hall at the Leadership Studies Building. She is a nationally recognized expert in the scholarship of engaged teaching and learning and will present her work on engaged partnerships at Kansas State University this month.

Clayton is a senior scholar at the Center for Service and Learning at Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis. She is a visiting scholar with the Institute for Community and Economic Development, University of North Carolina, Greensboro and she is a visiting fellow with the New England Resource Center for Higher Education.
