Scholarship Auditions and Interviews

Each spring, the faculty award upwards of $10,000 to outstanding incoming students based on their participation in our annual Schloarship Day held in February. Scholarship Day is an opportunity for interested students to meet the faculty, tour facilities, and demonstrate their skills in performance, design, tech, or management. Continuing Scholarships

Students can apply for and earn continuing scholarships each year of attendance at KSU. On average, the theatre program awards 20 students about $1,000 each for their continued dedication and participation.

Vincent and Jamey Stonestreet Scholarship.

One of the many endowed schloarships awarded to students is the Vincent and Jamey Stonestreet Scholarship. Begun in 2014 by Eric Stonestreet, noted KSU Alumnus and star of Modern Family, the Vincent and Jamey Stonestreet Scholarship honors his father and mother for their giving nature and encouragement in following the dream of professional acting. The scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior in the theatre program with a preference toward students with financial need. Minimum award is $1,000.

Four Year Scholarships

The Theatre Advisory Council of Kansas State University Theatre, a group comprised of community leaders and theatre enthusiasts, awards a number of four year renewable scholarships to incoming students. These prized scholarships rewards outstanding potential and continued contributions to the program with financial assistance of approximately $750 for four years.
