Job Description: Bio: Kate has directed or directed and choreographed over 50 plays and musicals. She came to KSU in 1980 after working professionally and in higher education for 12 years on the east coast in Boston, Vermont and Connecticut. She has directed plays selected for participation in the American College Theatre Festival and most recently received an ACTF Meritorious Commendation for the direction of A NEW BRAIN. Kate has been awarded the Outstanding Teaching Award for the College of Arts and Sciences and the William L. Stamey Teaching Award. She was named to the Women's Studies Faculty in 1986.
