“Hamlet,” one of Shakespeare’s most prominent tragedies, tells the tale of greed, revenge, insanity, self-reflection and rage as the young Prince Hamlet contemplates the death of his uncle, the man who murdered his father and married his mother. One of the most recognized phrases in English literature comes from “Hamlet” as the titular character argues with himself: “To be or not to be?”

Directed by Charlotte MacFarland.
