A K-State summer course is the right choice not only for your academic progress, but for your wallet, too. You’ll lock in the previous year’s tuition rate and pay a reduced on-campus privilege fee — with all the benefits of a regular semester. Estimate the costs on the tuition and fee schedule page through the cashier’s office.
Summer students also are eligible for financial assistance. Check with your financial assistance advisor to see what’s available.
Summer scholarships are available for juniors and seniors with financial need. To be eligible for a summer scholarship ($1,000 each):
- Enroll in at least 5 credit hours for Summer (which is 1/2 time); one of the courses must be on campus.
- Complete and turn in a Summer Financial Assistance form (PDF).
- Check your account in early May to see if you have been awarded a scholarship and accept it.
Other funding for Summer includes Summer Pell grants (new for 2018). Follow the same steps above to find out if you will receive one of those.
