Lost Passport

 

This is not a major problem, although it certainly seems so at the time.

1. Contact the Office of International Programs at: Phone: 1-785-532-5990, Fax: 1-785-532-6550, e-mail oip@ksu.edu. We have a copy of your passport on file. We will fax it to the U.S. embassy nearest you, and they will issue you a new passport as soon as possible.



2. If you have a passport copy with you, you can save a step by going directly to the U.S. embassy. You can find a complete listing of U.S. Embassies abroad on the State Department's Web site at http://usembassy.state.gov.
