Listed are the Exchange programs K-State Study Abroad has with United Kingdom.
K-State Exchange
An hour from London, the University of Hertfordshire gives you the best of both worlds: you’ll live in an active university town with pubs, cinemas, and shopping centers but have easy access to the bustle and nightlife of London. Students will pay tuition and fees to K-State and housing costs to the host university. Take classes in art, business, biology, math, history, English, psychology, and many other subjects. This exchange is best for a full-year or spring semester since fall term runs until late January.
Study abroad off the beaten path with a semester in Wales. Located 200 miles west of London and 200 miles southeast of Dublin, you will find the small town of Carmarthen. Living in this city of roughly 12,000, you are sure to get a sense of Welsh culture. Students will also get to compare the difference of a large US university to a small specialized school. West Wales offers courses in 2D and 3D arts and allows students to choose among classes from both fields including print, drawing, painting and sculpture while paying K-State tuition. As there aren’t any dormitories in Carmarthen, students typically stay in shared houses in town. No previous knowledge of Welsh is necessary!
