University of Canberra

Explore life “down under” in Australia’s capital. This small and vibrant city is filled with students who enjoy lively cafes, a hopping nightlife, and great, affordable restaurants. Canberra is also known for its abundance of parks, nature reserves, and lakeshores, and the numerous national parks located near the city make it an ideal base for exploring Australia’s natural beauty. The Canberra campus offers classes in many disciplines, and the Brisbane campus specializes in business. On this exchange, students pay tuition and fees to Kansas State.  Spots are limited on this exchange, and in some semesters no spots may be available – contact your Study Abroad Advisor for details.

Southern Cross University

This university of 5,000 students is a great place to experience Australia outside of a big-city environment and discover its true culture. SCU is in a beautiful part of Australia and is only thirty minutes from some of the best beaches in Australia. The International Office is highly supportive and offers study abroad students the chance to participate in a highly subsidized outback adventure trip. Southern Cross offers a variety of classes, including kinesiology, business, tourism and hospitality, and education.
