GENAG 505: AG Study Tour in Argentina
DESCRIPTION
This program will introduce students to several areas of Argentina’s agriculture, including livestock production, crop management practices and innovative machinery production industry. More specifically, students will visit crop research sites (INTA and Pioneer), soybean processing facilities, and a combine manufacturing plant. There will also be opportunities for sightseeing in Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Rosario, Santa Fe, and San Antonio. Students will participate in preparatory class meetings during the spring semester to become familiarized with the agriculture industries, livestock, crops, and cultures of Argentina.

MKTG 547: International Business
DESCRIPTIONThis course is designed to create awareness regarding the contemporary international environment, and recent changes in this development; provide an understanding of how these changes in the international environment are affecting the U.S. businesses; and provide an experiential international business learning opportunity via ten-day travel to London, Dublin, and Munich. Students in this course will be exposed to the above topics via readings and discussions during the first nine weeks of the semester. After the 10 day trip, the last six weeks of the course will focus on discussion and a research paper relating observations from the field trips to the lecture materials and readings covered during the first part of the course.

will receive 3 hours of academic credit for
FDSCI 660: Food Industry Tour of Italy.
DESCRIPTION
The Department of Food Science and Industry is offering a study tour focusing on the Tuscany region of Italy, led by Dr. Melvin Hunt, Professor of Meat Science. Students will visit Milan, Florence, Venice, and a number of small Tuscan towns. Students will learn why the people of Tuscany place such a high emphasis on their food and its importance not only in today’s culture, but also in the history of the country. Students will tour vineyards, wineries, a proscuitto ham factory, a balsamic vinegar vineyard and plant, several cheese plants, a cooking and wine tasting school, and a gelato manufacturer. Students will also tour gardens, duomos, art galleries, the Venetian Islands, and other local cultural sites.

COURSE
Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive 3 hours of academic credit for GENAG 505: Horticultural Tour of Central Italy.
DESCRIPTION
This tour is an 11-day intensive horticultural study tour that will introduce students to the production of local food products and traditions of Tuscany with particular emphasis on quality and safety. Students will learn about the growing, harvesting, and processing of plant products and why people of Tuscany place such a high emphasis on their produce. Students will also explore the botanical gardens of Italy that have played an important part in the history of this country. The language, rich art, and culture of Italy will also be studied. This course will include preparatory class meetings during the fall and spring semesters to acquaint students with the region, the language, the culture, and plants of this region.
ELIGIBILITY
Students must have a GPA of at least 2.5.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive 3 hours of graduate credit for CS 825: International Veterinary Study Tour.
DESCRIPTION
CS 825: International Veterinary Study Tour
will provide Vet Med students with the unique
opportunity to explore veterinary medicine in
Belgium and the Netherlands. Students will
learn about the countries through lectures,
research, and presentations prior to traveling.
Throughout the duration of the study tour, students
will interact with locals to gain exposure
to the culture and to the veterinary profession.
ELIGIBILITY
Enrollment in the College of Veterinary Medicine
is required. Additional students may be
admitted with the discretion of the Faculty
Leader.
