Course:Three undergraduate credit hours for AGEC 460, International Agribusiness
Description: This course is an overview of international agribusiness issues. It focuses on the role of trade, marketing, agricultural policy, traceability, and other related issues
Eligibility: Prerequisite: English 100 and minimum GPA of 2.5.
Cost: $4,000 (includes international airfare, accommodations, group meals, in-country transportation, admission to cultural sites, study abroad fee, and international medical insurance.)

Course: IAPD 406 or graduate credit for IAPD 830
Description: Spend intercession exploring the ancient cities of the Incas. Students travel to Cusco, capital of the Incan empire. From there, they learn about the ancient Quechuan culture, explore Machu Picchu, travel through the Sacred Valley, and experience life with a host family while helping to build an adobe structure. A visit to Arequipa exposes them to the influence of the Spanish on the Peruvian culture, and a side trip to the Uros Islands at Lake Titicaca allows students to experience first-hand, the diminishing of an indeigenous group, the Uros Indians, as modern civilization encroaches on their lifestyle.
Eligibility: Open to K-State undergraduate and graduate students in all majors. Must have at least sophomore standing and 2.5 GPA.
Cost: $3,251.42 (includes round trip airfare between Miami and Peru, accommodations, group meals, in-country transportation, admission to cultural sites, study abroad fee, and international medical insurance)
