Even if you plan to participate on a non-KSU study abroad program, you should still work with the study abroad office and pay the “study abroad fee” for the semester. With this service and fee you can remain enrolled full-time at K-State. Full-time enrollment in the "study abroad line" for the semester(s) you are away avoids a number of problems you may otherwise face because you are not taking courses at KSU. If you are not enrolled during a regular semester, KSU thinks you have dropped out. The consequences of this for you may be one or more of the following:
