KANSAS TEAMS COMPETING IN USAD FINAL COMPETITIONS
The high scoring team representing Kansas at the USAD Competition to be held May 1-2, in Garden Grove, California in conjunction with the 40 th anniversary of USAD is Shawnee Mission South. This will be the seventh straight year that Shawnee Mission South has gone to nationals event.
Olathe East will be the Kansas representative in the first on-line competition for middle –size schools. Independence will represent the small Kansas schools in the virtual competition for the second year. The virtual competitions will be at team’s home schools on-line at the same time as the nationals where students will be testing. Teams going to California and Virtual competitors will write their essay online two weeks before the May event.
