Participants are responsible for making all necessary lodging arrangements including reservations and payment.
Special pricing arrangements have been made with the hotels on this list. Room blocks are held under the name of " Kansas Academic Decathlon". Room rates are guaranteed until the block sells out or the release date expires, which ever comes first.
Participants are encouraged to make lodging arrangements as soon as possible and to notify the hotel of your tax-exempt status in order to make necessary arrangements to have applicable taxes waived.
Inclusion of a hotel in the "Lodging Guide" does not connote Kansas State University endorsement or recommendation. The hotels listed have been used in the past by Decathlon participants and have received favorable reviews.
Exclusion from the list does not denote dissatisfaction with a vendor. Competition organizers have chosen to list regional and national vendors who are able to hold blocks of rooms at special rates for the specific dates needed. You may wish to consult the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, 785-776-8829, for the names and contact information of local-based vendors. Manhattan has a wide variety of lodging options and pricing structures.
