WORSHIP

The central focus of our worship at St. Francis is embodied in our celebration of the Holy Eucharist.  In the Eucharist, we are called to remember the sacrifice God made for us in sending His Son, Jesus, to become one of us, to live, to die and to be raised from the dead for us, so that we can be reconciled with our Creator God.

We worship God through our music, through prayer - both individual and corporate, and through the hearing, reading, and studying of the Word of God.  We also offer worship to God through various forms of service, to the church and to the world, and through our fellowship with each other.  The sense of community is quite strong at St. Francis.  We love and support one another through both the trials and the joys that life may bring.  As in the early church, it is in a community of believers where the love of Jesus is most evident to the world.

We hope that you will prayerfully consider coming to be a part of the community of St. Francis Canterbury!  May the Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always!
