Inactivating an Academic Plan
Purpose
Use this procedure to inactivate an Academic Plan from a student's Program/Plan Stack.
Trigger
Perform this procedure when a student has indicated that he/she is no longer interested in pursuing a specified Academic Plan.
Prerequisites
· Student must have the indicated Academic Plan in their Program/Plan stack.
· More than one Academic Plan must be present in the associated Academic Prorgam.

· If there is only one Academic Plan in the associated Academic Program for the student, refer to Inactivating an Academic Program documentation for discontinuing the entire Academic Program.
Procedure
1. Records and Enrollment

2. At a minimum, complete the following required fields to find the appropriate record:

Refer to Searching
for Records in iSIS for help on using the Search Pages.
4. If necessary, select the appropriate Academic Program from which to inactivate the Academic Plan.

6. Record the number of Academic Plans associated with the Academic Program.
In the graphic above, there is 1
Plan listed in the student's Program/Plan Stack that are a part of the ENUDG
Academic Program. This value can be found by referring to the region heading
bar (lighter blue of the two bars) located just above Academic Plan.
7. Perform one of the following:

10. As required, complete/review the following fields:

12. Navigate to the Academic Plan to be inactivated.

If you inactivated the Primary
Program for the student, the new Primary Program must have a Plan Sequence
value changed to 10. See Changing Data About a Program or Plan
documentation for details on changing Plan Sequence values.
16. You have completed this task.
You have successfully inactivated an Academic Plan from a student's Program/Plan Stack.
Comments
If there is only one Academic Plan listed in the Academic Program, the Program must be discontinued. If you try to remove the last remaining Academic Plan without inactivating the Academic Program, you will receive an error message.
If the Primary Program of the student was inactivated, set the Plan Sequnence value of the new Primary Program to 10 and make sure the Student Career Number for the associated Program is
