Changing Data About an Existing Plan

Purpose

Use this procedure to change data about an existing Program, Plan, or Sub-Plan.

Trigger

Perform this procedure when an error in data entry has been found, or when the Requirement Term or other information about a student's existing Program or Plan has changed.

    This procedure is not to be used for changing the students Academic Program, Academic Plan, or Academic Sub-Plan!

Prerequisites

· Academic Program, Plan, or Sub-Plan to be changed must exist in the student's Program/Plan stack.

Use the following menu path(s) to begin this task:

· Records and Enrollment  Career and Program Information  Student Program/Plan

Procedure

1. Records and Enrollment  Career and Program Information  Student Program/Plan

Student Program/Plan

2.       At a minimum, complete the following required fields to find the appropriate record:

· ID

· Academic Career

· Campus ID

· National ID

· Last Name

· First Name

    Refer to Searching for Records in iSIS for help on using the Search Pages.

3.       Click  .

Student Academic Program/Plan

4.       Click  .

5.       As required, complete/review the following fields:

· Effective Date

· Effective Sequence

· Program Action

· Action Reason

6.       Make any changes to the Program, Plan, or Sub-Plan information as necessary.

    This process is not to be used to change Academic Programs, Plans, or Sub-Plans.  See the respective help documents for making official changes in the academic pursuits of K-State students.

7.       Click  .

8.       You have completed this task.

Result

You have successfully changed existing data about a student's Academic Program, Academic Plan, or Academic Sub-Plan.
