All women admitted to K-State are eligible to apply to live and participate in Smurthwaite. The acceptance process includes submitting an application including two references and transcripts. After reviewing applications, select applicants are invited to an interview with a panel of Smurthwaitians. Those selected by the panel to live in the house are notified soon afterwards.

Admission Process
Those interested in living at Smurthwaite should:
Apply to K-State. You are not eligible to apply to Smurthwaite until you are accepted to K-State.
Upon admission to the university, you will receive an application card from Housing & Dining also available by going to (https://housing.ksu.edu/temp/conapp.html). This should be filled out and returned. Be sure to check the box for more information about Smurthwaite Scholarship/Leadership House.
3. With your academic year contract, you should receive an application for Smurthwaite. If you do not receive this, please contact the Administrative Recruitment Chair as soon as possible.
