Giving Opportunties

Giving Idea #1-General Donations
Were you able to enjoy the 50th Reunion back in 2008? Do you enjoy the annual Smith Notes? Would you like to invest in an organization dedicated to preparing the next generation? Generous contributions not only provide these things, but also they help pay for the salary of personnel who help coordinate the Smith House Alumni Association.

If you wish to donate to this idea, please write on the memo line of your check or in the "Gift Notes" box on the KSU Foundation's website that you want your donation to go to "General Expenses." To learn how to contribute, please click here.

Giving Idea #2-Phase #3 of the Smith House Capital Projects
As you can read here, the Smith House Alumni Board is in the process of replacing Smith Scholarship House's antiquated electric wiring. Phase #1 and #2 of the Capital Projects have significantly improved the function and look of the first floor of Smith House.

The next phase in the project is to renovate the third floor of Smith Scholarship House. The electric wiring and plaster will be replaced, along with the drafty windows in the study, which will increase energy efficiency. Students will also gain better access to internet resources to help them in their studies.

If you wish to donate to this idea, please write on the memo line of your check or in the "Gift Notes" box on the KSU Foundation's website that you want your donation to go to "Phase #3 of Capital Project." To learn how to contribute, please click here.

Giving Idea #3-Sponsoring a Room Renovation
Do you have great memories of living in a particular room at Smith? Why not sponsor a room renovation?

If you wish to donate to this need, please send your contributions to the address given above. In the memo line, please indicate that you would want your donation to go to the Room Renovation of your choice. To learn how to contribute, please click here.
