6'th year Annivesary Celebration

SLSA celebrates its 6'th anniversary on November 23rd, 2011. The Sri Lankan Students Association was started on November 23rd, 2005. This is a remarkable accomplishment and acknowledgment to all the members, past and present that have had a hand in making this a truly exceptional Association

Fundraising Event

This is the first day of participation from SLSA to the Bramlage Stadium Clean-up on (Nov 06th 2011). We had 15 fellow Sri Lankans participated for this event with the great start. Kumari Serasinghe sponsored the refreshments for this event and everyone enjoyed Pizza and drinks after completing the project.

Manjula Nilaweera sponsored the refreshments for this event and everyone enjoyed McDonald meal and drinks at the end of the day.

Lecture: Meditation for Day-to-Day Life

SLSA and SGA are presented a lecture by Ven. Yatinuwara Sankichcha titled "Meditation for Day-to-Day Life: Avoiding and Overcoming Depression Without Medication" at 5 p.m. Friday in Forum Hall.

New Year Celebrations

Sri Lankan New Year was celebrated at Lawrence, KS with a day long event filled with fun, food and games, followed by a dinner party.

SLSA also participated in the Cultural exibition, Fashion Show and the Talent Show.
SLSA won 3 awards for Best Table at the Cultural Exibition, Most Active International Organization and Best Song at the International Talent Show.
