Anti-Hazing Policy
On January 31, 2005 Sigma Chi Headquarters announced a zero-tolerance stance on the issue of hazing. Sigma Chi defines hazing as "an act performed by any Sigma Chi or pledge member that results in an environment of servitude or in any way endangers or demeans a Sigma Chi or pledge member, regardless of that person's willingness to participate in that act." The Delta Upsilon Chapter of Sigma Chi at Kansas State follows this anti-hazing policy. We work with the University and IFC or Inter-Fraternal Council to make sure that there is absolutely no hazing. We do not believe in hazing and there will be absolutely zero hazing going on during your time at Sigma Chi.
