Recruitment

Women's continuous open bidding is currently under way while formal recruitment will occur in August of 2011 (date to be announced). For more information or to register for recruitment, visit K-State's Greek Affairs Office.

Legacies are women whose grandmother, mother, step-mother, aunt, sister, or step-sister are alumnae women of Sigma Kappa. We encourage alumnae women who have a legacy participating in Recruitment at K-State to notify our Chapter by mailing us a Recruitment Introduction Form (pdf), which is also available in the Sigma Kappa Triangle magazine. Please include your maiden name and chapter of initiation.

We also welcome letters of recommendation from Sigma Kappa alumnae who know a special woman who is attending Recruitment at K-State. Letters of recommendation may be filled out on the Recruitment Introduction Form (pdf).

Sigma Kappa has minimum grade requirements to become a new member. We ask that potential members who are incoming freshman to the university carry a minimum 3.0 gpa from high school and upperclassmen have a minimum 3.0 gpa in college.
