Parents' Club

The Sigma Kappa Parents' Club is an organization made up of parents of Theta Tau members. The Club was created to enhance the quality of life for members of Sigma Kappa Sorority. The members of Parents' Club offer their time and talents to raise money to purchase needed items, and attend Sorority events to offer support. By providing this help and support, the Club demonstrates to daughters that their parents are committed to the success of their Sigma Kappa experience.

All parents are members of Parents' Club. Parents are welcome to participate in activities throughout the year. A newsletter is sent to parents electronically each fall and spring to give updates about the Club's activities and upcoming events. The newsletter is also available on the Sigma Kappa website under Parents' Corner. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact us.

Parents' Club hosts a silent auction and raffle in the spring during Mom's Weekend. In the past, money raised through this event has helped to purchase computers, washers and dryers, a big screen TV, and new curtains and blinds for the dining room. The most recent purchase made by Parents' Club is the large screen television located in the living room of the chapter house.

Parents also enjoy spending time with their daughters and have a special weekend each semester to do so. The Chapter members host Dad's Weekend in the fall and Mom's Weekend in the spring.
