We can house fifty-six women per year in the chapter house. We have a total of fourteen bedrooms which vary in size and style. Our smallest rooms house two women, while our largest room can house eight. The other eleven rooms are built to house four members. Five of the rooms are a beds-in style, in which the beds are located within the living area of the room. The other rooms feature sleeping dorms, with the beds separate from the living area. Each room and sleeping dorm has its own heating and air conditioning unit that can be controlled by the occupants. Additionally, each room has its own phone and internet access. Separate built-in closet space is available for each member. As you will see in the tour of the house, many of the rooms have been decorated and painted by our members. Women are encouraged to provide their own desk area, and can bring such amenities as mini-refrigerators, TVs, and other furniture as they see fit. Our housemother's suite is a small apartment featuring a living area, bedroom, walk-in closet, and bathroom. |
