Recruitment 2008-2009! - Why SigEp?
Sigma Phi Epsilon has a long tradition of acedemic, athletic, and social excellence.
Focusing on the "Balanced Man" ideal is a cornerstone in our development program. It is
designed around an "everyone is equal" mentality. Our Balanced Man Program is designed to
help our members learn the essential skills needed to be successful in their careers long after their
journey through college.
We believe that this mentality breeds great brotherhood throughout the
entire chapter, and allows for more focus on academics, athletics, and the social scene. We also pride ourselves
on membership diversity by recruiting members from a variety of academic fields and personal backgrounds,
which has resulted in our unique group of personalities.
Most noteably, in 2001, our chapter received the Buchanan Cup,
which is the highest honor bestowed upon a Sigma Phi Epsilon chapter. As we approach the completion of a new facility this spring,
the goal of receiving this award again is in the forefront of everyone's minds. Our renovated chapter house will provide a rich learning
environment conducive to outstanding fellowship, personal growth, and brotherhood development.
