Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan
Unsubsidized loan from the U.S. Department of Education for graduate students.
The Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan is an educational loan for graduate students enrolled in at least 5 credit hours per semester. You do not have to demonstrate financial need to be offered a Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan as part of your financial aid package. However, you demonstrate a good credit history in in order to borrow the loan. The student must successfully complete the loan application process before our office can disburse a Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan. The annual maximum loan amount is based on your cost of attendance minus other financial aid you receive.

To begin the process of applying for a Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan, you must complete, sign, and submit the correct loan application to our office.
