- Students begin or continue to apply for outside funding and private scholarships.

- Students and their parents are highly encouraged to complete and submit federal and state tax returns.
- Students attend College Goal Sunday.

- Students may grant access to designees to view their information in the K-State Student Information System, iSIS.

- Students accept their offered financial aid in iSIS.
Navigate to the Student Center. Under Finances, choose "Accept/Decline Awards."

The federal verification process typically lasts two to three weeks.
Students cannot receive federal or state financial aid until the verification process is complete.

- Students complete a loan entrance counseling session and a master promissory note if they accepted a Federal Direct Loan and are first-time borrowers.

- If students accepted financial aid and completed all items on their “To Do List” in iSIS, their financial aid will be applied to their semester eBill.
- If students and/or parents registered for eRefund in order to have excess financial aid directly deposited into a personal checking or savings account, that credit balance refund will be directly deposited into their checking or savings account.
