Job Description: Direct the concentration in Drama Therapy at the BA and MA levels

of Continuing Education, serve as academic advisor to undergraduates
and to graduates in the drama therapy concentration, teach, member
of the Graduate Faculty and Gerontology Faculty. Advisor to KSU
Creative Arts Therapy Students (student organization).
Bio: As a registered drama therapist I worked with recovering substance
abusers and people with disabilities for over ten years in the Washington,
DC area. Author of "Wings To Fly: Bringing Theatre Arts To Students
with Special Needs" and "Dreams To Sign: Bringing Together Deaf
and Hearing Actors and Audiences." Produced children's theatre,
playwright. Member of the National Association for Drama Therapy
Board of Directors 1995-2001; President of the National Association
for Drama Therapy 2001-2003. Founder and Treasurer of the Drama Therapy Fund, 2003-present.
Recipient of the NADT Gertrud Schattner Award 2006, NADT Service Award 2005, 2005 Inspire by Example Award given by Community 1st National Bank for Community Service, 2003 William Stamey Undergraduate Teaching Award, and the 2001 KSU Advisor of the Year Award.
