The Themla Wolfersperger Holliday Scholarship
This scholarship of $400.00 to $700.00 is open to all students entering Kansas State University as a Rhetoric/Communication major or to students already enrolled as Rhetoric/Communication majors in the Department of Speech Communication. Preference will be given to students who: (1) demonstrate a strong background in rhetoric/communication and (2) excel in their classroom studies. Additional preference will be given to students who reside in Minneapolis, KS. This scholarship is renewable upon application.

The Howard T. Hill Toastmaster Scholarship
The purpose of this $300.00 to $500.00 scholarship is to perpetuate the memory of Howard T. Hill, a former Head of the Speech Department and a well known "toastmaster" in the Manhattan community and give recognition to outstanding students in Rhetoric/Communication. This scholarship is open to any junior or senior majoring in Rhetoric/Communication at Kansas State University. Preference will be given to students who: (1) have demonstrated a history of dedication to Rhetoric/Communication through programs in this field of study and (2) have maintained a grade point average of 3.5 in Rhetoric/Communication courses. This scholarship is renewable upon application.
