Research: "Evaluation of Recombinant Human Serum Albumin Stability in Transgenic Rice Extracts"
I will investigate the effect of extraction pH on the instability (degradation) of recombinant human serum albumin in transgenic rice extracts and attempt to identify the causes of degradation.

Most important lesson you have learned through being an Edgerley-Franklin leader:
Thanks to a push from the program, I decided to go on an alternative spring break to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. While there I learned so much from the St. Jude staff and the young patients and their families. It gave me a new outlook on life completely.
Advice for an incoming student:
Don't be afraid to try something new. If you want to go for it, do it. Go through your time here with no regrets.
I would like to conduct research in the medical field, particularly working with vaccine development.
My favorite stress reliever is to play 18 holes of golf.
