Research: "Synthesized Magnetic Nanoparticles"
The purpose of synthesizing magnetic nano particles is to use in the treatment and development of cancer.

Favorite thing about K-State:
My favorite thing about K-state is the friendly atmosphere and the community!

Favorite part of the Developing Scholars Program:
My favorite part of DSP is having the opportunity to collaborate with a research team in order to achieve a common goal. I also enjoy learning about nanoparticles and the methods that can be used to treat cancer.

Most important lesson you have learned through being an Edgerley-Franklin leader:
Through being an Edgerley-Franklin leader I have learned that determination and hard work are the keys to success.

Advice for an incoming student:
My advice for an incoming student would be to practice proper time management skills. It is very important to manage your time wisely because classes are very demanding, but it is also important to have fun and socialize with the community.

Future plans:
My future plans are to major in biology and attend optometry school in order to make a difference in the urban community.

Fun fact:
I have a large collection of frog-themed knick-knacks.
