Dr. Pérez joined the faculty at Kansas State University in 2011. Prior to this, Dr.
Pérez was a faculty member in the School of Public Administration at the University
of Colorado Denver. Her substantive interests include drugs and crime; women and
crime; treatment and offender rehabilitation. Dr. Pérez' work has appeared in numerous
peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of Criminal Justice, Deviant Behavior, and
the International Journal of Offender Therapy and Comparative Criminology. At KSU,
Dr. Pérez has taught Criminal Justice Systems and a special topics course on Drugs
and Society.
