At the top of the MSDSs will be product information.  This will include the name of the chemical.  This may be the generic chemical name, such as isopropyl alcohol, or the product trade name, such as Toner.  For trade names you will have to check under the Ingredients section of the MSDS for the actual chemicals that are in the product.  This section will also contain the manufacturer’s name, address, and telephone number where you can go for more information.  The date that the MSDSs was prepared is also in this section.
