So what do we have to do?  First, we have to have a written hazard communication program.  This program includes a list of the hazardous chemicals in your work areas, information on chemical labels, Material Safety Data Sheets (referred to as MSDSs), and how you will get information and training on the chemicals you work with.  Second, we have list of all the hazardous chemicals we work with at a project or location. Third, we need to make sure that all of the chemical containers are properly labeled.  Fourth, we have to provide information and training to you on the chemicals you work with. This is why we are having this training session. Finally, we need to obtain MSDSs from the chemical manufacturer or supplier for all of the chemicals on our list.
