What is Chemical HAZCOM?

Program to inform workers of the
hazards of chemicals they work with
or to which they may be exposed and
appropriate precautions to take.
Very simply, your HAZCOM program is designed to do three things:
1)
Tell you what hazardous chemicals are in your work area.
2)
Inform you of the hazards that these chemicals may pose to you.
3)
Most importantly, give you information on how you can protect yourself from overexposure to these chemicals.
