Old Chemical Waste Landfill Project

Work on the groundwater remediation portion of the landfill cleanup project started January 24th. A 150-foot long, 20-foot deep trench is being installed to capture contaminated groundwater that will be pumped to a treatment system. The treatment system is scheduled to be installed mid- to late March.
