Women in Engineering and Science Program
The Women in Engineering and Science Program (WESP) at Kansas State University is a cooperative effort between the Colleges of Engineering and Arts & Sciences and is designed to cultivate the science and technology interests of women from the middle school through postgraduate levels. This program serves seventeen departments of engineering and science. Its three main focus areas are outreach, recruitment, and retention from the middle school age through post-graduate levels. The GROW and EXCITE! programs for secondary school girls are part of WESP.
