In order to provide a more efficient and cost-effective verification process, Kansas State University has entered a formal agency agreement with National Student Loan Clearinghouse of Herndon, Virginia.

Verification of enrollment (which includes degrees earned) for students enrolled at Kansas State University is transmitted by Kansas State University to Clearinghouse five times during each fall and spring term and once at the end of the summer term.

The services provided by National Student Loan Clearinghouse are in full compliance with all applicable privacy laws and, in particular, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA).

The Registrar’s Office will process requests for enrollment verifications (which include degrees earned) required by insurance and loan companies. A student’s original signature is required for release of such information.

Obtaining an Enrollment Verification in Person

• Manhattan campus - Visit the Registrar’s Office, 118 Anderson Hall. The transcript window is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM and over the noon hour. You must have a picture ID or a driver’s license for identification purposes.
• Salina campus - Visit the Registrar’s Office, 2310 Centennial Road, Salina, KS, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. You must have a picture ID or a driver’s license for identification purposes.

Obtaining an Enrollment Verification by Mail or Fax

Enrollment verifications can also be ordered by mail or by fax. Please complete the request for verification of enrollment form and submit to the Registrar’s Office. Your signature is required. There is no charge for a verification form, however, if you have requested a verification form to be faxed, there is a $5.00 fax charge within the continental United States.
