Assignment of Courses Students are responsible for fulfilling all requirements of the curriculum in which they are enrolled. They should consult with their advisors and be familiar with the K-State Catalogs. A catalog is given to each new student and copies are maintained for student use in the Office of Admissions, Graduate school, all deans' offices, Hale Library, and all departmental offices. Catalogs may also be purchased at the K-State Student Union Bookstore. No student is officially enrolled in courses or for private lessons in music or other subjects until a formal course assignment is completed. A student may not enroll later than 14 class days after the beginning of a semester (seven calendar days for summer term) except by permission of the dean. Students should enroll prior to the beginning of the semester in order to avoid a late enrollment fee. An undergraduate student has an enrollment cap of 21 semester credit hours (SCH Cap). To add additional hours beyond the cap, a student must consult with the appropriate dean's office. |
