Remember: being an A.R.C.C. leader is a very educational & rewarding experience and only adds to the already-impressive place an A.R.C.C. membership holds on future applications and resumes. Potential A.R.C.C. leaders should be very motivated individuals, with strong organizational abilities and a desire to lead.

For the Fall '07 to Spring '08 semesters, the following committee Chair positions are open for application:

Club meetings will occur, approximately, bi-monthly, usually on Monday evenings at 8:15pm and sometimes on Sunday evenings at varying times. Club Chairs are generally required to be present half-an-hour before the meeting. Will you be able to attend these days & times? (If not, or if in doubt, please explain.)

Please rank the positions you are applying for, in order of preference. ("1" should be your first choice, "5" your last.)
If you have no interest in a certain committee, do not list it at all.

For the final section of this application, please address the following three items in short-answer/essay format.

1.)Why is being an A.R.C.C. leader important to you?

2.)Explain the ways in which A.R.C.C. will benefit if you're elected Chair (i.e.: what skills, ideas, characteristics, etc., will you bring to the club?).

3.)Suppose the A.R.C.C. Executive Committee (President & all Chairs) will be graduating at the end of the Fall '07 semester, midway through your term as Chair. A new President and new Chairs will be elected but they will all be inexperienced leaders. How might you prepare for this transition? What problems do you think could arise and how might you address them? (This is a hard question. Be creative!)

Thank You for Applying!
