Committee

Kansas State University is committed to becoming a more environmentally aware community by expanding recycling efforts across the campus. Our goal is to enhance the campus environment, minimize the waste stream, decrease waste management costs and help our planet.

K-State has a Recycling Committee dedicated to promoting, action, and education to the benefits of recycling on campus. Many recycling program ideas and activities are a direct result of students, faculty, and staff involvement with the Recycling Committee. Please join us in these efforts.

Get Caught Recycling

All change is accomplished one person at a time. Each person not only can make a difference, but must make a difference.

Recycling reduces our reliance on landfills and incinerators.

Recycling protects our health and environment when harmful substances are removed from the waste stream.

Recycling conserves our natural resources because it reduces the need for raw materials.
