There's nothing better than K-State Football and Recycling!
2009 is the second year where football fans and tailgaters were asked to recycling their aluminum cans, plastic bottles, and cardboard. Many thanks to all the student groups who helped including Students for Environmental Action, K-State Green, and numerous Fraternity, Sorority, and Living groups.
Students volunteered hundreds of hours during tailgating by passing and collecting recycling bags, canvassing Bill Snyder Stadium after the game by picking up plastic bottles, and by sorting cans and bottles each following Sunday.

We can do better in 2010! Planning is underway to make the next Game Day Recycling even more successful. Want to get involved, contact SEA (Students for Environmental Action) for more details.
