Off-site links
Oddly enough, the simplest link to make is a link that goes off your website. Select the link item and click Link>Browse to Web Page (illustrated last page as Step 1). The Insert Link dialog box opens.
Type or paste the entire address in the "Web address (URL):" box. In this case, it would be:
http://www.applyweb.com/apply/kstate/index.html
Then, in the Advanced options menu, make sure the Target frame is set to "New Window." This ensures that while you are sending the surfer off your web page, a new window will pop open to house it. When the user closes the window with the linked site in it, yours will be in the background.
To link pages within your website, use relative links (a slightly different process). This will save you lots of time if you ever change your web address.
