Jessica L. McManus

Advisor: Dr. Donald Saucier

Description of Research

  • My research examines how the expression of prejudice changes according to stigmatized group status and situational factors.
  • Stigmatized groups I examine include racial minorities and those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Additionally, I am concerned with how contextual factors embedded in interracial helping situations influence expressions of prejudice.
