Jennifer Livengood
Advisor: Dr. Mark Barnett
Description of Research
My broad research interests include parenting and the mother-child relationship. My current research addresses the former as I am assessing young adults’ intentions to continue/discontinue parenting practices that their parents employed in raising them. I am also interested in the effects of maternal employment on family dynamics and the mother-child relationship, as well as the effects of out-of-home child care on young children.
