Nine of the fourteen proposals were selected to receive funding, with
awards ranging from $150,000 to $2,000,000, spread over a period of two to
five years. Projects supported include:
Biomaterials by Design, Center for
the Understanding of Origins, Consortium for Global Research on Water-Based
Economics, Enhancing Military History and Security Studies, Food Safety and
Security:Protecting America's Health, Agriculture, Infrastructure, and Economy,
GIScience Infrastructure Enhancement Project, The Integration of Parenting and
Family Partnerships into the Developing Scholars, K-State Initiative in Genome
Biology, and Nanoparticle Sciences and Environmental Technology.
