Priority Setting Timeline

 

Mid-December 2005:

Each dean provides an update to the provost regarding the strategies he/she has pursued to provide leadership and engage the department heads in the priority setting process.

Mid-May 2006:

Each dean provides to the provost (1) a summary of the college priorities, (2) the status of each department's progress toward priority setting, (3) the priorities identified by each department, (4) departments that can mentor others in the process, and (5) how these departmental priorities are aligned with both the college and the university priorities.

Mid-August 2006:

Each dean provides a report to the provost on plans to assist departments in completing the priority setting process.

Mid-December 2006:

Each dean provides a final report to the provost on priorities established by all departments.

Spring 2008:

Each dean provides a report on progress made toward meeting priorities set in 2006.
