Guest housing available through the Provost's Office

The following accomodations are available only for university and KSU Foundation affiliated guests on official university business only.

Brockman House, 1100 N. Manhattan Ave.

Brockman HouseEstablished in 1990 by Helen Brockman to provide temporary lodging for visitors interacting with undergraduate students, the Brockman House is available for stays of three nights to eight weeks. Managed by the KSU Foundation, the fully furnished apartment has one bedroom with a queen sized bed, one bathroom with a tub and shower, a living room and fully equipped kitchen. Local phone service and basic cable TV are provided. Onsite laundry facilities are available in the basement of Brockman House.

All options are based on one person occupying the unit. Each additional person is $10/night.

Second Floor Apartment & Basement Apartment (each a 1-BR unit)
  • 2-6 nights: $50 minimum (for 2 nights) or $25/night x 3-7 nights; or
    $150, whichever is less.

  • 7-29 nights: $150 minimum (for 7 nights) or $22/night x 8-29 nights; or
    $600, whichever is less.

  • Alternative pricing formula:
    • 1-2 nights - $50
    • 3-6 nights - $25/night
    • 7 nights - $150
    • 8-27 nights - $22/night
    • 28-30 nights - $600
Main Floor of house (2-BRs available)
  • 2-6 nights: $75 minimum (for 2 nights) or $37.50/night x 3-6 nights; or
    $225, whichever is less.

  • 7-29 nights: $225 minimum (for 7 nights) or $33/night x 8-29 nights; or $900, whichever is less.

    • 1-2 nights - $75

Payments are made directly to the KSU Foundation.

Edwards Hall Apartment

Edwards HallLocated in the penthouse of Edwards Hall on Denison Avenue, across from the College of Veterinary Medicine, this apartment used to serve as the primary residence for the hall director when Edwards Hall was an athletic dormitory. The furnished unit has two bedrooms with queen sized beds, one and one-half baths, living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Local phone, expanded basic cable service, and ethernet connection are provided. Laundry facilities are available within the apartment. The maximum lodging limit for this apartment is one semester.

Rates
  • $45/night for 1-14 nights
  • $165/week for stays of 2 -3 weeks
  • $660/month for 1 or more months

Payments are made to Kansas State University and are invoiced through the Vice President for Administration and Finance.

Campus Bridge Loft Condominiums

Campus Bridge Loft CondominiumsDue to the generous investment by the KSU Foundation in two condominium apartments located at the corner of Manhattan Avenue and Vattier Street, visitors to the university have an opportunity to stay in these recently constructed condominiums. Each unit has two bedrooms with private baths in each room, a living room, a modern kitchen with dishwasher, and a balcony with spectacular views of the K-State campus. The bedrooms are keyed separately to ensure privacy and to allow for two departments to host guests simultaneously. Televisions with cable are located in each bedroom and in the living room and wireless internet service is provided. Each unit has a washer and dryer available for guest use.

Rates and photos

These rates are based on the occupant using only one of the two bedrooms in the unit. If the 2nd bedroom is used, an additional charge of $50/week will be added to cover additional cleaning and utility charges. Also, these fees are applicable to university or foundation guests staying in the units for university or foundation business (see section below if stay is in conjunction with a sporting or graduation event).

  • 2-6 nights: $200 minimum for 2 nights or $100/night x 3-6 nights.
  • 7-30 nights: $600 minimum for 7 nights or $85/night x 8-30 nights; or $2,500, whichever is less.
  • 31-60 nights: $2,5000 minimum for 31 nights or $75/night x 32-60 nights; or $4,250, whichever is less.
  • 61-180 nights: $4,250 minimum for 2 months or $65/night x 61-180 days.
Rates

These rates are for guests staying in a unit to attend a sporting event or graduation (regardless of whether they're also conducting business during their stay).

  • Friday & Saturday nights (minimum): $500 total for the 2 nights
  • Thursday-Saturday nights: $600 total for the 3 nights

Payments are made directly to the KSU Foundation after a fully executed contract is returned to them.

Jardine Apartment, Building 6, 2016 Tunstall Circle, #103

Jardine ApartmentLocated in the Jardine Apartment Community this unit contains four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Housing and Dining Services will provide furniture, linens and cookware, weekly cleaning service, monthly pest control, maintenance, wired and wireless internet access and all utility costs. Cleaning service will include linen exchange, trash removal, and limited light cleaning. Academic departments will need to make arrangements with Parking Services to purchase guest permits. There will be no mail service provided at Jardine, so any need for mail will be coordinated through the academic department.  The maximum lodging limit for this apartment is one semester

Rates
  • $100 minimum for 2 nights or $50/per bedroom per night x 2-6 nights; or $250, whichever is less.
  • $250 minimum for 1 week or $35.71/per bedroom per night x 8-29 nights; or $1,000 whichever is less.
  • $1,000 minimum for 30 days or $33.33/per bedroom per night x 31-180 nights

Payments are made directly to the Kansas State University and are invoiced through the Department of Housing and Dining Services.
