| research interests: | Professor Lin's Physics group is developing smart synthetic methods to grow III-nitride nano-structures and materials. They are also developing new architectures for integrating multi-functional micro- and nano-scale photonic components onto single chips to lay the foundation for achieving photonic integrated circuits that are active in the UV/blue/green spectral region. These devices have potential appications in bioagent detection. |
