| research interests: | Dr. Dhuyvetter assists farmers throughout Kansas with risk and return assessment of crop and livestock production methods and their impact on the environment. He focuses his work on the factors affecting profitability of crop and livestock operations, land values and crop leasing, and the economics of precision agriculture. He is currently examining relationships between energy prices and crop inputs, estimating crop yield and fertility relationships, factors affecting weight-price slides for feeder cattle, and alternative methods of pricing SEW pigs. |
